Mass localism

Wednesday 14th April 2016, 13:04

NESTA, a leading independent expert on innovation, has produced a discussion paper called 'Mass Localism' which describes how government can move away from centrally driven projects towards resourcing initiatives developed and led by local communities.  Given the growing pressure on government finances, local solutions are often very effective, as they reflect the needs of specific communities and engage citizens in taking action as well as bring cost savings, which is what CD folks have been arguing for decades.  Follow the link for further information.www.nesta.org.uk/mass_localism
