Fundraising & Communications Co-ordinator, and Part-Time Admin Worker

Double Impact is a registered charity (No. 1139865) with an established reputation for providing high quality services which promote recovery and community reintegration for problematic substance users.   We are looking to recruit the following posts to support the organisation’s needs with regard to development and sustainability:

FUNDRAISING AND COMMUNICATIONS CO-ORDINATOR
Location: Nottingham
Initial 12 month contract/ Ref: FU01
Full time – 37.5 hrs / Salary: Grade 6 (£28, 042 - £36,565)

Outline of role
Working closely with the Business Development Manager and heads of teams, the post holder will play a pivotal role in developing the profile of the organisation as a charity and establishing an income stream from its new charitable status.  S/He will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring Double Impact’s fundraising portfolio, with a particular focus on the development of individual donor giving and a programme of fundraising events.  The successful candidate will ensure that the organisation’s communications are targeted, effective and successfully integrated with fundraising strategy.

The successful candidate will have solid experience of a range of fundraising and communications methods and how these are successfully integrated; knowledge of individual giving schemes, donor segmentation and developing donor relationships; excellent written & verbal communication skills to a wide range of internal & external stakeholders; demonstrable ability to work innovatively,  to self-motivate and to motivate others; excellent understanding of the media, their requirements and procedures; superb planning and organisational skills.

PART-TIME ADMIN WORKER

Location: Nottingham  
Fixed term 9 month contract / Ref: AW01
Part time – 18.5 hrs / Salary: Grade 2 : £13,396 – £23,873 pa pro rata

Outline of role

This post will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Services Director and Business Development Manager.  Excellent computer, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential and a qualification desirable.  The post also offers an opportunity to provide administrative support to the Fundraising and Communications Co-ordinator.
