Training Opportunity: "You Matter" Practice living diversity and your dreams

CFOR (Force for Change) is hosting a facilitation workshop for individuals who live or work with communities that would benefit from conflict facilitation training around issues of diversity and identity. We have contacted you, as you, or someone you know, may be interested in this community relationships workshop, supported by the EU, and part of our Europe Matters programme which will take place in London during 21st May to the 25th May 2017.

Due to the nature of the grant, we need to limit participation. We have 20 people from 15 European countries, and now looking for 10 participants from the UK. The UK participants will be selected based on their personal interest, the potential benefit to them personally and their community. The workshop involves facilitation skills that allow us to go beyond talking about the issues to direct interactions and transformation of understanding and attitudes. There will be facilitated panels and group interactions that will provide you with the skills and support to make a difference in your community. This workshop also looks at our history in Europe, from colonialism, world wars, tyranny, splits between east-west, north and south, to the current uprisings and issues we face in multicultural societies, in conjunction with issues of human rights, community relationships, relationships between cultures and countries to create a shared future for Europe. There will be a small fee of £50 to cover food and adminstration costs, as the course itslef will be covered for the participant by the grant.

If you would like apply or recommend someone, please let us know. To find out more or to get an application form, please email

Deadline for applications is the 15th December 2018.
